The physio will support you in:
- Being referred for further treatment
- Managing/improving your condition
- Helping with pain relief
- Being referred for specialist care
- Discussing your worries or concerns
Simply ask our surgery receptionist to book you an appointment.
If you are planning to take a holiday abroad you may be required to have vaccinations in order to visit certain countries.
Appointments for vaccinations should commence at least 6 weeks before travelling. Advice regarding vaccinations should be sorted as your holiday is being planned.
To avoid disappointment please remember to book your appointment early.
We appreciate you may be looking for “late deal holidays”. If you are thinking of booking your holiday late and have an idea of your destination: please enquire about the vaccinations you may need, and book your appointment at least 6 weeks before travelling. It may not be possible for us to arrange an appointment at short notice.
An appointment with a GP after surgery is required for all non NHS medical examinations. Private insurance forms or documents requiring completion should be left with the Receptionist for the Doctor to sign.
Completed forms can be collected once complete by arrangement.
There will be a charge levied for this service.
The GP or ANP will advise you as appropriate if you require any minor surgery. Certain procedures are carried out by a Doctor in the surgery, for which an appointment must be made.
Please let reception know if you are unable to attend as these appointments are in high demand.
Health checks can be arranged for patients over the age of 75 years. Patients between 16-74 years who have not been seen for 3 years are advised to attend for a health check with the Practice Nurse.
Newly registered patients are invited to attend for a health check within 3 months of joining the practice.
These clinics are by appointment. If you feel you would benefit from attending one of these clinics please discuss this with your doctor.
Clinics are held by an independent counsellor in surgery every other Tuesday.
Appointments are available both Face to face and telephone.
Patients can also self refer for counselling services through the Talking Shop by calling 01302 565650.
The GP’s & ANP’s offer contraceptive care during normal surgery hours. Advice and follow-up is provided by a Practice Nurse.
You will be sent a letter from the Child Health Department to attend one of our clinics when your child’s immunisations and/or development checks are due.
Once received please contact the surgery on 01302 782208 to make an appointment with one of our practice Nurses.
Please note there are no health Visitors in attendance.
It is the local policy to actively recall women between the ages of 25-49 years every 3 years for cervical smears, and women aged 50-64 years, every 5 years.
Please make an appointment to attend the Practice Nurse clinic when your smear is due.
